Now that the snow is officially falling & winter has started, we need reminders of what lush greenery looks like & Allan Gardens does this perfectly!
Located in the heart of Downtown Toronto at Gerrard & Jarvis, this expansive conservatory features a collection of plants that have been selected from all around the world.

Not only do they have some of the most stunning flowers that you have seen but there is also a turtle pond along with a koi pond.

One thing that's really cool is that there are little descriptive signs placed in front of the plants/trees so that you can learn about what they are & where they came from.

Unfortunately when I went the Palm House was closed for renovations but this is normally the biggest/most impressive part of Allan Gardens with a sweeping glass dome that floods in natural light & enormous plants.
*Pro tip: go in the winter - the heat & humidity inside in the summer is crazy*
